Superhero Bedroom Concept Board

My sister and brother-in-law are working away at their newly purchased home, repainting the walls, replacing old carpet, having hardwood floors installed, replacing laminate kitchen counters with granite, and even repainting their kitchen cabinets white. With all this work going on, my sister really needed some help with her oldest son Jaxon's room. He's going to be 4 in September and really knows what he wants. Like his upcoming birthday party, he chose a Superhero themed bedroom.

Check out the Spiderman t-shirt!
I put together the following concept board to give my sister some initial ideas and a quick google search led me to a great DIY blog, Sugar Tot Designs. My sister also suggested this, so I have to give her credit, and then I saw the same thing on Sugar Tot...a chalkboard painted skyline with Jax's initials in the "sky" like a Batman signal. Don't you love it?! I can't wait to start this project.
