Hanson Kitchen Concept Board

A few days ago I posted that my sister and brother-in-law were days away from closing on their new home. Well, they finally closed and work is moving along pretty quickly at Casa Hanson. Painting commenced yesterday and my sister was quick to text me a photo of the living room in the color I suggested, but more of that later. What I would like to share with you today is the Kitchen Concept Board I created for them.

They have plans to repaint their kitchen cabinets white and replace the laminate counters with granite. We are also repainting the walls in Sherwin Williams - Gateway Gray, and blocking out an area that will be painted using chalkboard paint as a message board and writable surface for my nephews. We are also replacing the existing lighting with new, modern fixtures. With two young children, I've recommended furniture that's easy to maintain and wipe off, nothing upholstered in the eat-in kitchen area.
