Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a great time with my family and ate way too much. I spent the rest of the weekend, crossing off DIY projects and tasks on my To Do List, all culminating with Christmas decorations today. I'm hosting a Mad Men themed holiday party on the 9th for my co-workers so I needed to get the house ready because I know I won't want to do anything after work. Here's a look at my holiday tablescape. I was inspired by a photo of a bird's nest vignette in a glass bowl I saw in this month's Better Homes & Gardens and worked the tablescape around this idea.
It's hard to tell from the photo, but our christmas tree is an angel themed and snowflake themed tree. Every year for Christmas, my Godmother has given me an angel ornament for Christmas. I have every single one hanging on my tree. I love having this collection.
You'll also see the custom ottoman slipcover and coffee table tray that I made this holiday weekend too. I was very busy :)
I'd like to see how you plan to realize the Man Men theme. It calls to mind the Mad Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland - but let's not assume chaos is an option. If you can pull off an "organized chaos," then that would be best.
