Before and After: Kristen & Ricky's Kitchen

My girlfriend and fellow designer, Kristen, and her fiance Ricky recently renovated their kitchen. Their before and after pictures are pretty remarkable. Kristen explained how the house was a short sale and needed a ton of work. But Rick put in a lot of sweat equity and the house looks fabulous, especially this kitchen.

They opened up the wall between the kitchen and dining room and now that space feels so much more open and inviting. They also saved a lot of money by repainting their existing cabinets white. Although they encountered a few obstacles with those cabinets, they're both so happy with how they turned out. New appliances, new modern hardware and lighting, as well as granite countertops & tile backsplash, and new floors transformed this once dull, dark kitchen into a modern, bright space that they love to be in now.
