Repainting Your Kitchen Cabinets

My sister is in the process of closing on a new home in the next week or two. It's a great home with plenty of room for her growing family. Melissa is the mom to a 3 year old and a 4-month old, so she has a list of things she wants to do before they move all their stuff in. Here are a few pictures from the MLS:

In terms of painting, she told me she wants to go with a "cooler palette, grays & blues" with this home. She would also like to paint the existing cabinets white and replace all the floors with a dark stained wide plank hardwood, which I love!!! So this week when I received my latest copy of HGTV Magazine, I was very excited to see that it was focused on kitchens and they had a really helpful piece on repainting your cabinets that I wanted to share.
