Our Backyard Landscaping Update

For both Mike and I, it's been a crazy busy summer. So busy that we've completely neglected our yard. I went back there this past weekend and found some weeds were 4' high! What were we thinking? Well, Mike just couldn't take it anymore, so after spending the morning moving my sister's family into their new home, we drove straight to Home Depot and bought 12 bags of mulch, mums, and small shrubs that were 3 for $12!

Mike used to work on a golf course during high school and college so he's really great at handling the yard when he actually has time. I'm not sure what got into him, but our yard went from 0 to 100 in a weekend. His back and legs are paying for it now, but wow, it looks so great! Sorry, I didn't take any before pictures, but here are the after pics.



We have to clean the bottom of that shed, it looks pretty bad. we're also going to add some shrubs to either side of the shed doors.

There's Mike completely exhausted with one of our dogs Damon. There's our veggie garden along the fence.
