Room Reveal: Our Baby's Travel-themed Nursery

Our baby hasn't arrived yet but I'm excited to reveal his or her travel-themed nursery that I've been talking about for months. It's definitely been a labor of love because I really wanted everything just perfect and there were moments when I thought we wouldn't finish it. As I talked about in past blog posts, I needed to create a gender-neutral nursery based on our love for traveling. Mike and I want our baby to know of all the places we've been to and lived since we met in college 12 years ago. We also want our baby to know his or her roots. Roots that come from Peru, Greece, and Ireland, not just where we grew up in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

The color palette derived from two prints we bought during our trip to Paris nearly two years ago. I knew that one day I would use them in our baby's nursery. I pulled a light blue green, pale yellow and brought in gray. I figured the room would be brought to life with other colors from the baby's toys and books.

My good camera died on me (horrible timing) so I had to use my iPhone. Hopefully I can have my sister to take some professional photos once the baby arrives. Hope you like it!
