DIY Project: Slipcovered Ottoman

My mom gave me an old ottoman that she had in her living room. I knew I could work with it so I quickly made a slipcover for it.

Here's what the ottoman looks like under the slipcover:

First, I laid my ikat fabric inside out and cut rectangular panels and pinned them together. Looking back, my advice would be to pin one side then sew it. It's hard to carefully pull up the entire pinned slipcover and then try to sew it. It gets a bit tangled.

Once you've sewn all the sides, flip it right side out and pin the hem under and sew. That's it. You have a slipcover for you ottoman!
